Taylormade Belly Putter
Here is an excellent putter from Taylormade’s Rossa line of putters that you can get as a belly putter. If you can get over the looks (No. These are not blades) and give them a try, you just might be pleasantly surprised by how well you do with them.
TaylorMade Rossa Monza Spider Putter
MOI technology explained: Moment of inertia is the measurement of the putter’s head weight and weight distribution. Putters with high MOI resist twisting and turning on impact and result in more forgiveness for enhanced consistency and accuracy.
Even professionals frequently miss putts because they fail to hit the ball with the center of the club-face. Hits toward the heal or toe of the club twists the club making the ball roll off line and finishing short. These off-center hits also create a different spin that also contributes to inconsistent distance and direction.
The Spider has been engineered to give players better results no matter where the impact.
The steel wire-frame head and light aluminum core allows weight to be positioned on the perimeter which further increases MOI.
The Spider also has Movable Weight Technology that lets you change the weights of the outer rear ports. The putter comes installed with two four gram weights, but you can increase that to a total 20 grams with the optional weight cartridges.
As with all Rossa putters, the AGSI®+ Technology insert with 14 tightly positioned grooves gives you more efficient forward spin for a smoother roll.
